Mental Health Flash Cards

Western State Hospital wanted some flash cards to facilitate communication with non-verbal or non-English speaking patients. I was assigned four phrases to illustrate and these are them. I've worked with the developmentally disabled so I tried to keep their particular needs and fears in mind. I like how my flash cards turned out and I think they communicate the phrases clearly. I made the graphics in Illustrator and laid them out with text in InDesign.
